Scope creep

Scope creep is the gradual expansion of work beyond the agreed scope — Google Ads here, a homepage tweak there — until you’re doing far more for the same fee. A written, itemized scope is the strongest defense: point to it and offer the extra as a separate project or a tier upgrade.
