Brand mention

Your brand’s name appearing in text across the web, whether or not it’s hyperlinked. Even an unlinked mention counts, because AI reads the words themselves to learn you exist and how you’re regarded. In Ahrefs’ study of 75,000 brands, branded web mentions had the strongest correlation with AI Overview visibility — stronger than backlinks, referring domains or domain rating.
